SPUD Springville Public Utility District 

Springville Public Utility District (SPUD) provides treated water and sanitary sewer services to 1,300 residents in the community of Springville California.  SPUD’s water treatment plants are located on the Middle Fork of the Upper Tule River in rural southeastern Tulare County. 
The community is situated in foothills at 1,100 feet elevation on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains adjacent to the Sequoia National Monument, which provides a surface water source for our community needs.


SPUD serves 389 metered water customers and 375 sanitary sewer connected customers.
Our service area spans from the Springville Sierra Rodeo grounds to the landmark White Barn at Balch park Road along State Highway 190.

Established since 1924 as a California Special Utility District,
